Why a Regional Non-Profit?

The four southwestern counties of New Mexico cover a remote, sparsely populated rural area. With only 64,793 residents in a 17,305 square mile area, services and programs are often hard to come by.

The Wellness Coalition provides a forum for learning lessons from each other, identifying common priorities and regionalizing great programs. TWC applies for funding sources which would be difficult to obtain for just one county or one service provider alone. We use the strength of our partners to attract more funding that benefits the whole community.
